At Adventure Bike TV we have always said any bike is an adventure bike and pretty much any ride can be an adventure. We also know that there are many of our viewers, their friends or just anyone that happens to see this who are new to, or who want to do more adventure riding. Or maybe you’d just like to meet one of the Adventure Bike TV team for a weekend away? Or maybe you fancy being in a short film on our YouTube channel?
Hence the RoadTrip!
We ran out inaugural Roadtrip Mid-Wales in June 2021 and our second will take place from 20th – 22nd August 2021. And what's the ingredients for our RoadTrip? Join Graham for:
- Glorious roads and amazing views – we like rolling hills, mountains and lakes in particular
- Camping - wild if possible but a campsite will do
- Good company
- Lots of tea and cake
- Stepping just a little outside of your comfort zone
- Starring in your own Adventure Bike TV YouTube film
Graham from the show has planned a route around mid-Wales, taking in some of the best riding it has to offer. The ride will be mostly on tarmac, but there'll be a bit of wide gravel type trail for anyone that wants to have a go. We'll be filming the trip so you'll even get to star in your own video!
Here’s what the lovely folks from the first ride said:
“Bloody fantastic, what a weekend!”
“Thanks again for an absolutely awesome weekend! I wouldn’t have wanted to change a thing about it. I thoroughly enjoyed every part of it!”
“Thanks, Graham, for putting together such a fab weekend”
Price: £185 (deposit £100)

How the Group Riding Works
With a group of up to ten bikes and riders, we can’t always keep track of each other. You’ll need to be able to navigate so that if anyone drops away from a group, then you’ll be able to find us at the next stop.
If anyone wants to peel off and ride solo or in a group top the next stop, the please feel free – no one is obliged to follow me
Please note that there are plenty of places where there is no mobile phone signal, so that might affect Google maps (online) and certainly means we can’t always call each other or send message via the WhatsApp group. So please be prepared with either downloaded maps to Google maps (or whatever App you use) or the route on your SatNav.
Please be aware that speed limits and safe riding practices should all be adhered to.
Breakdowns – as a group we will do as any group of motorcyclists would and try to help our fellow rider(s) with a problem, but the group will not stop and wait for riders that have broken down. That is why it’s really important to have adequate breakdown cover – just as you should on any trip/ride.
PLEASE NOTE: BY BOOKING YOUR PLACE YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE TERMS AND CONDITION HIGHLIGHTED IN THE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION SECTION
Roadtrip Mid-Wales 20/08/21 - 22/08/21
Our aim for our ABTV RoadTrippers to have an amazing time and make long-lasting memories and friends. We will always work as hard as we can to achieve those aims, but there may the odd time when things can’t or don’t go to plan – so that’s why we need the Terms and Conditions.
We also know that no-one likes the small print, so we’ve made the text the same size as the rest and as little of it as possible! PLEASE, PLEASE, READ IT! It will only take moment.
ABTV RoadTrips are organised and operated by Graham Hoskins t/a Big G Media.
Participant’s (Your) Responsibilities and Risks
ABTV RoadTrips are about having a wonderful mini-adventure with safe, considerate riding. We absolutely do not race or break the law. Participants are required to ride their motorcycle in accordance with ALL local laws and regulations. If you wish to participate in a trip or tour that encourages any behaviour that does not conform to these rules, please choose another one. Full details of the route, stops and accommodation will be provided to you before the trip commences and you will be choosing to follow that route and stay at that accommodation entirely at your own risk: any motorcycle accident involving a Participant will never be the Organiser’s responsibility.
You must provide your own:
- motorbike insurance
- personal or life insurance
- accident and recovery cover/insurance
ABTV RoadTrips are NOT responsible or liable for:
- any injuries you may suffer, fatal or otherwise because of participation in one of the trips
- personal property howsoever damaged
All participants’ motorcycles must in a good road-legal condition, have applicable valid insurance, tax/road fund license and MOT. Participants are responsible for their own motorcycle, its use and conformity to local laws and regulations.
You will be riding with a group of other motorcyclists and on public roads. Courtesy, manners and helping others cost nothing and are vital to an enjoyable trip. Respect your fellow riders, other road users, other people, the Highway Code, the law and the natural world around you – including the weather! Never ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Anyone who does not behave according to these responsibilities will be asked to leave the trip with no refund.
Refunds and Cancellations
If you cancel, refunds can’t be given on deposits but if you’ve paid in full and we can find a replacement rider, we’ll refund the balance. If you have started the trip, we’re very sorry but no refunds can be given, no matter what the reason.
If I have to cancel the trip you’ll get a full refund or a place on another trip. However, if the trip is cancelled because of war, riots, civil unrest, terrorism, natural disaster or any unforeseen cancellations due to industrial disputes and/or weather, then no refunds can be made available.
There will always be some arrangements that are beyond our control and sometimes changes do need to happen. If there is a material change to your trip (such as the route), I will let you know and you can:
- Go with the new plan
- Go with an alternative RoadTrip
- Cancel and accept a full refund
ABTV RoadTrips reserves the right to use all still and video imagery taken by the organiser(s) during the trip for any purpose.
